Deforestation- Paragraph For SSC/HSC
Deforestation means cutting down trees on a large scale. It is a serious threat to our environment. People cut down trees to make space for buildings, roads, and industries. Deforestation leads to soil erosion and floods as there are no roots to hold the soil. It also destroys the habitat of animals and birds. Due to fewer trees, the level of carbon dioxide increases, causing global warming. Rainfall decreases, and the temperature rises. Deforestation affects the balance of nature. To stop deforestation, we should plant more trees and protect our forests.
